Can I carry over my unused meals to the next week?
If you have a Value Plan, the meals must be used in the week they’re assigned and cannot be carried over to the next week. If you have a Commuter Plan, Unlimited Plan, or Block Plan, you are not limited to a certain number of meals per week.
Can I change my Meal Plan for fall semester?
Yes. You can change your Meal Plan until August 31, 2012 simply by going to the UNC One Card Office website at www.onecard.unc.edu.
Can I treat my friend to a meal on my plan?
It depends on your plan. If you have a Commuter or Block Plan, you have a certain number of meals to use any way you like, including treating friends to meals. However, if you have an Unlimited or Value Plan, you are the only one who can use your all-you-care-to-eat meals. But you can treat a friend to a meal at any of our other dining location on campus using your Dining Flex.
What do I do if my Dining Flex runs low?
Reload! Visit www.onecard.unc.edu or go to the UNC One Card Office and tell them you want to replenish your Dining Flex.
When do I sign up for a spring Meal Plan?
Residential Meal Plans are annual contracts. You will automatically be billed for your spring Meal Plan. However, if you wish to change your plan for the spring semester, you can do so between October 17, 2012 and January 13, 2013 by visiting www.onecard.unc.edu. If a student cancels his/her Meal Plan contract he/she will be charged a $250 cancellation fee and the balance will be credited to the student’s account.
Commuter Meal Plans will go on sale beginning November 26, 2012 through February 13, 2013. Visit www.onecard.unc.edu to sign up. Commuter Meal Plans are not annual contracts; you will not be automatically enrolled in a spring semester Meal Plan.
How can I track how many meals I use?
You can track your meal plan securely online at www.onecard.unc.edu by clicking “Manage My Account” and logging in using your Onyen and password.
